The Why, When, What and How of Physical Health and Fitness

Today’s life is miserably reduced to work, work and only work. There is no denying of the fact that the world has been literally transformed into a battleground and people into armed warriors, who are trained to gun down anyone coming in their way of lofty office positions. Evidently, we form a credible part of this work stricken culture and health and fitness have been brushed inside the carpet. Both, office-bearers and office-goers, are locked in the waging war of power, leapfrogging into crown positions, by burning more hours at work and less at the gym. Forget gyming, sparing some moments from our busy calendar for our beloved ones appears to be a tough task.

Time and again, medical professionals have emphasized on the need of physical fitness for a sound mind and perfect body. But, even after noticing our poor state of mental and physical health, we give more priority to our career. The noise of stature and stardom is so high that we hardly listen to the whispers of debilitating physical condition. Due to a bad overhaul of our routines, leading a healthy life is a bit of a challenge. We have become dangerously prone to fatal diseases, such as obesity, high blood pressure, cardio problems, cholesterol, cancer and infertility, that ultimately reduces the life span. Moreover, an inaccurate lifestyle can also take a toll on the mental health, pushing an individual into the dark existence. The time has come when the people should take up the cudgels for their health and wellness.
